Yup, that’s what dogs are for. That’s a true bedbug.

Maureen 2010/11/19 at 11:51 am

This is so sweet.

Also, do you have t-shirts with Woofer and Tweeter?

Nicki 2010/11/19 at 11:59 am

That looks like our DutchGirl! How sweet:)

Dogs are some of the best sleeping buddies!

Nancy Nyman 2010/11/19 at 12:34 pm

This is ADORABLE! Makes ya want to snuggle up with your “best Friend”~

What a perfect cartoon! Hannah doesn’t get under the covers, but she does like to cuddle!

I have a king-size bed, yet I am clinging to the edge while they push with their paws or nose for more room. That being said, I couldn’t sleep at night without my woofers in bed with me…their little snores, their “chasing rabbits” dreams where the bed is actually moving while they run in their sleep. And if you want to save on heating bills this winter – cuddle up with three big doggies! That’s why they call it a 3-dog night!

What a lucky little girl! That’s all I ever wanted when I was little – to have a dog as a best buddy. I wasn’t permitted then by my family. BUT NOW I have many best buds of my own, and I run a dog rescue!

JESS 2010/11/19 at 2:51 pm

My 4 year old daughter has exactly 18 stuffed animals in her bed EVERY night. But our 85 lb boxer Bandit is definitely her favorite one!! I can’t really tell you who is more of a grouch in the mornings when I go wake them up!!

love it! i hate getting out of my warm bed in the morning!

to lorraine, i was in a similar situation growing up as well. my dog wasnt allowed in most of the house, bed, etc and now im 23, and a foster home to whatever pups come my way (there are a lot down here in nola after katrina!) and my two big mutts+fosters are my snuggle buddies!

as we clung to the edge of our king size last night… I said “this just isn’t right”, but as the night progressed and the whole deal morphed into THE pile… the world was right again!

I adore this. There is something so special about a child and her dog.

Mary K 2010/11/19 at 6:04 pm

That is too cute… Love it

Jacque 2010/11/19 at 7:15 pm

Nothing better in the whole world…for the child or the dog…

Heather 2010/11/19 at 8:46 pm

What an appropriate cartoon/photo! Last night, again, I was either hanging off the side of the bed or twisted like a pretzel in our queen size bed, while Bogart, the 80 pound lab, stretched himself out very comfortably on the diagonal.

There is NOTHING that can beat a live “teddy dog” for a bed buddy!!! What sweet companions they are!

Joyce V 2010/11/20 at 10:49 am

At least Bear left room for his bed buddy! Many dogs don’t! And neither dogs nor bi-peds enjoy getting up from comfiest place to be.

Best yet!
