All the dogs swear on the Bible it’s the cat…now what the cat’s come back will be is the question

Debbie 2010/11/16 at 11:38 am

What a beautiful Lab! It is always the cat’s fault, right? LOL

Rosanne 2010/11/16 at 11:40 am

My Labs swear by that too, only problem is – we don’t have a cat!

This is funny! After having a German Shepherd whose world fell apart if he thought he disappointed us, we got a terrier. We always knew when the German Shepherd had done something wrong. With the terrier it was HA-HA on us. Terriers feel no guilt. Their view is it’s not a lie if it doesn’t matter—to them. Or as one guy defined it, “A terrier’s mental well being does not depend on your approval.” Our terrier and this lab could have been buddies! (i.e., unindicted co-conspirators!)

I can tell that Hunter is both truthful and sincere.

THANKS !!!

So funny – so true! We have a golden, an English Cocker and a Westie and Molly is right. You always know when the first two have done something – when the Westie does it, it’s the “Princess’s” right to do what ever she wants – absolutely NO remorse!!

His whole fault and nothing but his fault! Now that’s funny!!

Laura Robison 2010/11/16 at 7:04 pm

@ Susan: some are more literal than others in incorporating the Holy Word into their daily lives….

carly 2010/11/16 at 8:51 pm

Maureen……Hunter is a Lab! How can he be anything BUT truthful and sincere?! They’re the boy/girl scouts of the dog world!!!

Sara 2010/11/16 at 11:16 pm

LOL…oh yes, Molly….terriers are a law unto themselves!!!

Joyce V 2010/11/18 at 9:24 am

And the CAT will make a similar oath, with or without the Good Book…
